Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition, 2012

Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition, 2012

The 2012 flagship model of the Diavel family is a tribute to the AMG luxury-sport brand and is intended for passionate connoisseurs of technology, engineering detail and exclusive style.

Ducati's unique cooperation with Mercedes AMG was first announced at the 2010 Los Angeles Motor Show with a sponsorship agreement for the Ducati MotoGP Team which perfectly demonstrated the shared brand values of high performance, motorsport and excitement. The association soon developed into a rich strategy of co-marketing activities and the Diavel AMG Special Edition now represents the first "co-inspired" model, elegantly combining distinctive styling features from both famous marques.

Based upon the Diavel Carbon, the Diavel AMG Special Edition features AMG's signature 5-spoke wheel styling, carbon fibre lateral radiator grills with aluminium trim, AMG-style sport exhaust system with engraved end-caps and AMG-style horizontally ribbed seat upholstered in Alcantara®. The model's incredible attention to performance detail also ensures that every engine has its Desmodromic cam-timing set by hand and authenticated with the name of the engine technician engraved on the left-side engine casing. Further underlining the model's exclusivity, each motorcycle will have a numbered plaque on the fuel tank.

Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition Model Highlights, 2012
The award-winning Ducati Diavel has had massive first-year success for the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, its bold design merging the worlds of power and style with absolute precision to set a new industry standard for the segment. Ducati's awesome Testastretta 11° engine combined with their famous chassis technology and a specially engineered 240 section rear tyre delivers mind-blowing performance balanced with user-friendly comfort and safety-enhancing electronics.

Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition Features and Benefits, 2012
Hand-built - as with all Ducati motorcycles - the exclusive new Diavel AMG Special Edition is dressed in matte black carbon fibre bodywork with AMG's very own "Diamond White Bright" stripe and frame colour contrasted with black wheels. The special edition wheels, seat and exhaust end-caps are all AMG branded while "AMG" is also laser-engraved into the air-duct panels either side of the fuel tank.

Features and Benefits
Monster ABS
The 2011 Monster family now offers all models with optional anti-lock braking system (ABS).
The ABS developed by Ducati and offered as an option on the entire Monster family is the most
sophisticated version available in motorcycling. Designed to reduce the risk of wheel-lock under heavy
braking or when braking in low grip conditions, the system reads wheel speed data from phonic wheel
sensors to detect potential wheel lock. If the wheel speed differential falls below a specific safety limit, the control unit immediately reduces the brake system pressure to the appropriate calliper to avoid wheel lock.

The pressure reduction on each individual braking circuit is activated by electronically controlled valves, which then close as the wheel speed differential moves away from a locking scenario.

Monster frame
An immensely strong but light tubular steel Trellis frame with aluminium rear sub-frame is the visual and
structural backbone of all the Monsters. Delivering unparalleled rigidity with minimal mass, the frame
design is pure Ducati in its ingenuity and simplicity and also enables a very useful 64 degrees of lock-to-lock steering travel. The brand new lightweight aluminium sub-frame maintains visual continuity with the aluminium footrest hangers and swingarm, and is designed to accept a passenger-friendly grab-rail kit available from Ducati Performance. The kit further enhances passenger ride comfort without compromising the Monster’s stylish lines.

Monster instrumentation
Looking clean and minimalist in true Monster style, the brightly illuminated display provides all essential
data by default, and even more by scrolling with the left-hand switchgear. Data includes speed, revs, time, scheduled maintenance, oil temperature and battery voltage, while warning lights illuminate for oil pressure, fuel reserve, turn indicators, high beam and neutral selection. In addition, the instruments present a reserve fuel trip, immobiliser status and automatic light-off function after 60 seconds with the key on as well as a memory to store lap times recorded by using the high-beam flash button as a stopwatch.

The display also doubles as a control panel for the activation of the Ducati Data Analyser (DDA) system, which is available as an accessory from Ducati Performance. All Monsters are built ‘system-ready’ for the data acquisition kit, which consists of a special DDA software and memory key that slots into USB style plug under the seat. The same plug also doubles as the connection for a handy ‘battery maintainer’ available as an accessory from Ducati Performance.

Florida Motorcycle Accident Attorney
http://www.theinjurylawyers.com/

Florida motorcycle accident statistics show that motorcycle accidents typically account for a disproportionately high number of catastrophic traffic accidents resulting in brain injury, broken bones, paralysis, and death. Tragically, the vast majority of Florida motorcycle accidents were unavoidable by the motorcyclist who was injured or killed but could have been easily avoided by the other vehicle driver who caused it. The experienced personal injury attorneys at Abrahamson & Uiterwyk understand the complex aspects of Florida motorcycle accident cases, including:

Florida vehicle laws pertaining to motorcyclists
    Motorcycle accident reconstruction
Roadway design and architecture as it relates to motorcyclists
Motorcycle design and manufacturing issues (resulting in product liability)

In most motorcycle-motor vehicle accidents, a negligent or inattentive automobile driver is at fault. Some of the common types of collisions include:

A driver swerving directly in front of a motorcyclist
A driver pulling out of an intersection or driveway into the path of an oncoming motorcycle
A driver's failure to follow posted traffic laws or yield proper right of way
A driver's failure to see a motorcyclist when changing lanes or passing other motor vehicles
A driver who is temporarily impaired by drugs or alcohol

If you have questions or concerns about injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash, please contact the Florida motorcycle accident lawyers at Abrahamson & Uiterwyk today. We offer free initial consultations and work on a contingent fee basis, which means that there are no fees or costs unless we win.

Motor vehicle accidents are the most common causes of personal injuries. Injuries sustained in car accidents can range from minor cuts, bruises, and fractures, to serious and catastrophic injuries involving the head, neck, back, spinal cord, and brain. Our auto accident attorneys regularly represent individuals injured in car accidents. We have experience representing even the most seriously injured individuals.

Florida law requires drivers to carry automobile insurance. In most cases, if you are injured in an auto accident, you will seek financial compensation from an insurance company. Even if you are involved in a collision with an uninsured or underinsured driver, you will be able to seek compensation from your own car insurance company. Because car accidents are so common, and cost insurance companies hundreds of millions of dollars, the insurance companies, insurance adjusters, and insurance defense attorneys work hard to limit your financial recovery. We work hard to maximize it.

Following a serious auto accident, it is essential that we begin an investigation immediately. Our team will develop and preserve valuable evidence in your case. We use the evidence to bolster our position in negotiations with the insurance company. Whenever a fair and reasonable settlement is unavailable, we will vigorously pursue litigation options.

If you were recently injured in a motor vehicle accident in Florida, do not agree to an insurance settlement without speaking with us or you may forfeit valuable rights. Contact us to schedule a FREE CONSULTATION with an experienced Florida auto accident lawyer. We also represent clients injured in accidents involving motorcycles and trucks.

Features and Benefits
The 696 with a comfort-enhancing 20mm bar-riser, 43mm Marzocchi front suspension, a new dark stealth and stone white colour scheme with dark chrome handlebar finish and a new sub-frame ready for the Ducati Performance grab-rail accessory. Launched as an early entry to model year 2011, the 796 now gets Marzocchi front suspension, while the 1100 and 1100 S follow the rest of the range with a new sub-frame ready to accept accessory passenger grab-rails.

The latest Monster family provides a stylish range of lifestyle motorcycles, all available with optional ABS and with high attention to user-friendly detail. The Monster’s cult status as a design icon of hand-built, naked motorcycles remains as authentic as ever.

The display doubles as a control panel for the activation of the Ducati Data Analyser (DDA) system, which is available as an accessory from Ducati Performance. All Monsters are built ‘system-ready’ for the data acquisition kit, which consists of a special DDA software and memory key that slots into USB style plug under the seat. The same plug also doubles as the connection for a handy ‘battery maintainer’ available as an accessory from Ducati Performance.
